Japanese thank to Mongolian people.
I visited and meet Mr. Dambadarjaa Batjargal at Mongolian Embassy in Tokyo on 20th April 2011.
Mr. Dambadarjaa Batjargal told me very interesting story in Mongolia. About 20 years ago, Japanese government donated 400 buses to Mongolia. They had served to transport people until few years ago. The Mongolian people appreciated the reliability to Japanese made buses and had the good sensitivity to Japan too.
Despite having a population of just 2,700,000 the Mongolian government donated 100,000,000 Yen to Japan. This generosity was added to by the Mongolian people who donated 200,000,000 Yen. Thus the donation from Mongolia totaled 300,000,000 Yen.
The generosity of the Mongolian people and their government will not be forgotten by Japan and the Japanese. This has strengthened the bond between the two countries.
