We visited Souunkyo Daisetsuzan Photo Museum in Souunkyo where we stayed for the night.
The director of the museum, Mr. Kouetsu Ichinei, guided us and explained his beautiful photos he took all year around the Daisetsuzan area. The photos we liked are shown below.

We visited Aoi Ike, Blue lake next. The hot spring water, which contains platinum , gushes into the Biei river and creates a colloidal compound which is invisible to the naked eyes. When the sunshine hit, we can see the blue water.
However, we do not know what really made this lake blue.
It is a mysterious place of birth from the natural phenomena that were produced unexpectedly.
It was only one day, but we could enjoy the rich nature of Daisetsuzan of Hokkaido, and we were satisfied.
